Blended Class Length of Class: up to .5 hours Includes: Adult Child and Infant training Certification: American Heart Association Two Year Certification Course Meets:Medical, State, Federal and OSHA Requirements CPR, AED usage, and choking treatment are taught in the Blended American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Blended course. CPR and life-threatening emergency identification are taught. Healthcare personnel and trained first responders who treat patients in a variety of locations can learn single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for pre-hospital and in-facility situations. It's needed for medical professionals and anybody wanting to learn advanced abilities. Students receive a two-year BLS course completion card after skills presentation. American Heart Association online course, part 1. Students get American Heart Association course assignments through email. Learners work at their own speed. After finishing all course work, the student prints the course completion certificate for Part 2. Part 1 should take roughly 2 hours, although students can work on small chunks and finish the course over several days. Part 2, Hands-on skills practice with an Accredited AHA Teacher Compressions, breathing, and AED are shown by students. In a rescue scenario, the student uses compressions, breathing, and AED. These abilities are for adults, children, and infants. Next comes choking. Depending on class style and student experience, Part 2 should take 30–60 minutes. After finishing Parts 1 and 2, course is complete.
